Meet Kate

Kate started her massage career in 2003 after graduating from the Indiana College of Bodywork Modalities and launching her business with her father, reflexologist John Ahrens.  She is Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. For the past several years, Kate has acquired a wide range of skills and is well-educated in designing personalized healing treatments for every client. With over 20 years of experience, she is trained in Orthopedic Sports Massage. She has worked with clients who have repetitive injuries and chronic pain, as well as competitive and professional athletes. Kate has worked in chiropractic offices, senior living communities, and day spas, relaxing and destressing many busy individuals. 

Kate has also recently cultivated the spiritual aspect of her practice. She is a Holy Fire Reiki III Level 3 Reiki Master and Teacher and a Certified Crystal and Chakra Healer.  She is a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher in Training and is also enrolled in the Integrated Energy Alignment program. 

While Kate has officially retired from massage therapy, she continues to offer energy healing and bodywork treatments, including craniosacral therapy. 

In her free time, Kate enjoys practicing yoga, meditating, reading, and spending time with her husband, teenage sons, and fur babies.  She also enjoys the occasional Netflix binge!
