Meet Kate

Kate started her massage career in 2003 after graduating from Indiana College of Bodywork Modalities and launching her business with her father, reflexologist John Ahrens.  She is Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. For the past several years, Kate has added a great many skills to her toolbox and is well-educated in designing a healing treatment for every client. With over 20 years of experience, she is trained in Orthopedic Sports Massage and has worked with clients with repetitive injuries and chronic pain and competitive and professional athletes. Kate has worked in chiropractic offices, senior living communities and in the day spa environment, relaxing and destressing many busy people. 

Kate has also recently cultivated the spiritual aspect of her practice. She is a Holy Fire Reiki III Level 3 Reiki Master and Teacher and a Certified Crystal and Chakra Healer.  She is a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher in Training and is also enrolled in the Integrated Energy Alignment program. 

Kate received her certification as a Wellness Coach in 2018 and developed a coaching program to relieve stress and overwhelm. She is also an Intuition Coach, supporting her clients in developing and mastering their intuition for spiritual and personal growth. More information on her program can be found here.  

In her spare time, Kate loves to do yoga, meditate, read, and spend time with her husband, teenage sons, and fur babies.  She also enjoys the occasional Netflix binge!
