Meet Kate

Kate started her massage career in 2003 after graduating from Indiana College of Bodywork Modalities and launching her own business with her father, reflexologist John Ahrens.  She is Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. For the past several years, Kate has added a great many skills to her tool box and is well educated in designing a healing treatment for every client. With 20 years of experience, she is trained in Orthopedic Sports Massage and has worked with clients with repetitive injuries and chronic pain as well as competitive and professional athletes. Kate has worked in chiropractic offices, senior living communities and in the day spa environment, relaxing and destressing many busy people. 

Kate has also recently cultivated the spiritual aspect of her practice. She is a Holy Fire Reiki III Level 3 Reiki Master and a Certified Crystal and Chakra Healer. 

Kate received her certification as a Wellness Coach in 2018 and has developed a coaching program designed to relieve stress and overwhelm. She is an Intuition Coach, supporting her clients to develop and master their own intuition for spiritual and personal growth.  More information on her program can be found here.  

In her spare time, Kate loves to do yoga, meditate, read and spend time with her husband, teenage sons and fur babies.  She also enjoys the occasional Netflix binge!
